We are delighted to welcome you to our prestigious annual International Academic and Research Conference in Manchester, United Kingdom. Since its inception in 2011, the Conference has grown in stature and is currently considered to be one of the leading academic events for students and junior doctors. This event, which is committed to promoting the exchange of medical and scientific knowledge, provides an invaluable opportunity for motivated and creative medical students and junior doctors to present their work to their peers, either as an oral or a poster presentation. The day will also feature keynote lectures from distinguished clinicians and scientists.

We welcome abstracts in the following areas:

  1. Clinical Research
  2. Laboratory Research
  3. Clinical Audit
  4. Service Evaluation [clinical or health-related]
  5. Clinical and Direct Patient-Related Work [e.g., interesting and unique cases, case series, patient-focused developments, clinical innovations and innovation of medical devices]
  6. Literature Review

All abstracts selected for presentation will be published in the annual print edition of our ‘World Journal of Medical Education and Research (WJMER)’. For further information regarding the journal, kindly follow this link: www.wjmer.com

A variety of prizes will be awarded for the best presentations in each category, as well as for pioneering research, audits or medical devices that have had an impact on clinical practice or patient care.

The overall winner (Grand Prize Winner) will receive the highly acclaimed ‘Doctors Academy Award’, as well as other attractive prizes. The winner will also be invited as a guest speaker to present his or her work and academic experience to the delegates of the 10th International Medical Summer School in 2018. In addition, the winner will be offered the opportunity to publish his or her full paper in the WJMER.

Students and doctors are welcome to attend this conference as a delegate and do not necessarily need to present their work.

Further information can be found in the ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ and ‘Abstract Submission Guidelines’ sections of the website. We hope you find the information in these sections relevant and useful.

Thank you for considering to present your work at this conference. We look forward to meeting you shortly.
